About Stadium Motel & Apartments

The Stadium Motel is a centrally located, modern hospitality complex. The unique tranquility of being situated across the road from a picturesque tree-lined council park and reserve provides a very quiet and peaceful environment for all guests.

This prime location allows for easy access (walking distance) to the CBD of Hamilton and many of the city’s sporting and theatrical clubs. Less than 50 metres from the gates to Waikato Stadium, 5 minutes walk to the nearest supermarket and restaurants, and less than 10 minutes walk to Seddon Park and the CBD makes this quiet complex ideally located to base yourself from for all activities whether business of pleasure. It is also only a short drive to the Claudelands Event Centre, The Base (New Zealand’s newest and largest shopping complex) or to Westfield’s Chartwell Mall.

The motel was designed to offer a superior stay experience from a quiet location with easy access to the main attractions of Hamilton, including business, sport and leisure.

The Stadium Motel complex offers a variety of studio units as well as executive 1 bedroom units. A number of units have kitchenettes with full cooking facilities and spa baths. There are also 3 fully self-contained two-storey apartments (1 x 2-bedroom and 2 x 3-bedroom) giving larger families or groups the opportunity to move in and experience a “Home away from Home” environment. All units and apartments have free internet access. On-site parking ensures a smooth transfer from your vehicle to your unit/apartment.

The Stadium Motel is also your gateway to the Waikato region. The Hamilton Gardens, country retreats of rural Waikato and the outdoor adventures of our diverse hinterland are only a short drive from our location.
